Prayer Labyrinth - April 2, 5:30 to 6:30 pm

The Labyrinth is not a maze.  It only has one path and there are no dead ends.  The path winds throughout and becomes a metaphor for where we are in our lives, touching our sorrows and releasing our joys.  Walk it with an open mind and an open heart.

The theme for our walk will be "Service" as Jesus said as he washed his disciples feet "I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you."

We will begin our time together with a brief introduction to walking the labyrinth.  After your time on the labyrinth, participants will have a chance to journal about their experience.

Palm Crosses

Please bring a pair of scissors and meet us in Canterbury House at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 3rd.  If you have any questions, please call Jeanne Rasi, 956-1553.

Stations of the Cross

Stations of the Cross are observed each Friday at 5:30 p.m. during Lent. This devotion stems from the tradition of  pilgrims offering prayer at a series of places in Jerusalem that are associated with our Lord’s passion and death. The litany takes about 20 minutes. All are encouraged to attend the special service, and a sign-up sheet is posted in the back of the church for those who wish to lead the Stations
