St. Barnabas is a church awakened by faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and a place of encouragement and discovery for all who want to know and grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord.

We have many ministries that promote God's love through outreach to the communities that we serve. Below is just a small list of the ways you can help make a difference.

Wednesday morning Bible Study

A great group of men and women gather together to discuss the "Lections/Readings" for the upcoming Sunday. An interesting and informative way to prepare for the next Sunday with great prayer and discussion time for the group. Come to Canterbury at 10 a.m. and join us, you'll enjoy the group atmosphere and great fellowship.

Healing Prayers each Sunday

St. Barnabas chapter of Order of St Luke has teams available to pray in the chapel at the time of communion during all three Sunday morning services each week. You are invited to come for prayers for healing of mind, body and spirit, and you can also ask to have prayers for a friend or loved-one. All requests are kept in confidence, unless you give permission otherwise.

Daughters of the King

The Daughters of the King meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 3:30-4:30. We have a brief evening prayer service. Join us for prayer, friendly conversation and Bible study. Everyone is welcome.

Honduras Mission

St. Barnabas Church and St. Barnabas School are involved in Mission Ministry in Honduras through our Parish to Parish relationship with St. John the Evangelist and our School to School relationship with St. Mary’s Episcopal School, both in the capital city of Tegucigalpa. Efforts are made to make two trips to Honduras each year.

Barnabas Elders

Encouraging Elders, being Encouraged

All Seniors are Invited

2nd Monday at Noon - Each Month

Canterbury House

Please join Fr. Comforted and other seniors in our St. Barnabas family for a pot-luck lunch, a short teaching on a topic related to Faith and this Elder phase of our lives. Meet some of the most energetic and visionary people of the parish. We have a fun time together and it’s a great way to make new friends. Our goal is to effectively and successfully live out this phase of our lives, applying our passions for the good of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Any questions, please contact Fr. Comforted or Judy.
